Markus is a uniquely colored foundation stallion. He has 97% percent appaloosa bloodlines in his first four generations. He was foaled June of 2014 in Alberta Canada. Markus is homozygous for black as well as leopard pattern. His pedigree returns to Wap Spotted and the foundation Toby bloodlines. He is good natured, handsome, and balanced. His genetic testing is
EE aa PATN1/PATN1 LP/lp 5 panel n/n for all but pssm n/p1 Markus is an easy keeper, with strong bone and hoof, and was very manageable as a stallion. In fact, Markus was so easy to get along with, that we decided he was too nice a trail riding prospect to pass up. Markus was gelded in October of 2018, and is in training under saddle. There are five mares in foal to Markus for spring in 2019. I am hoping for a stallion prospect with his blood to replace him.
